How to Bid
With so many great items to bid on, here are some resources to help you through the process.
All new Bergman families have already been registered with GiveSmart. You should have already received an email from GiveSmart instructing you how to activate your account. In order to participate in the auction you will need to set up your password and select your payment method. Once these are submitted you'll be ready to go!
For all returning Bergman families your account information is the same as it was for Sip & Slide 2019. Use your login and password information to access your account. If you've forgotten your login information use the 'Forgot Username or Passcode?' prompt that appears on the login page. Be sure to confirm your payment method in case it needs to be updated from last year.
The GiveSmart website for the Sip Slide & Click is www.sipnslide2020.givesmart.com.

One feature of this tool that really comes in handy is the Auto Bid.
A single bid can be placed as a one time bid for any amount. An auto bid can be placed and set at the maximum amount you are willing to spend. With Auto Bid, the system will place your bid at the minimum amount needed to lead. When you are outbid, our system will bid automatically for you until your maximum is reached. You will receive a text message letting you know when you've been outbid.
Below is a video and a pdf file that takes you through the process.
To connect with your account via mobile phone you can also text sipnslide2020 to 76278. This will allow you access to your account, to place a bid, and to watch items you're interested in.
You can visit the website directly if you'd like, however, each item on this Sip Slide & Click website that you are on right now will take you directly to the GiveSmart website. Just click on the 'Click Here to Bid' buttons or on the Auction Item number and you will be routed directly to the GiveSmart bidding site.
GiveSmart is not a phone app. This tool is website based so there is not a need to download an app.
